Communication in this day and age revolves around the Internet. I can't think of one subject where a simple Google search returns zero information.

With this in mind it is probably difficult for you to see why people and companies bother with blogging endless reams of information on zillions of subjects, and how, at the end of the day, they get any decent number of readers to make it all worthwhile.

Only after a lot of hard work and promotion does any blog become successful and get a following that makes it all worth the work the writer [blogger] puts into it.

I'm sure there are many folk that follow a blog for the interesting news and information it supplies, or to keep up with the life and lifestyle of the blogger who operates in an area that interests the reader.

There are, however, other motives for running a blog on websites like mine, and the number one reason is to attract readers to my actual site through the keywords people use to identify information they are looking for.

My website, for instance, is selling article writing services for websites that are trying to improve their ranking on Google searches through articles, blog posts and other web content that is rich with SEO Content.

SEO is an acronym for Search Engine Optimisation, this is the method used to put a website on the front pages of a Google search and therefore provide an opportunity for more clicks on the website and obviously achieve more conversions [sales] from the attracted visitors.

Blogs are seldom used simply to offer an opinion on a subject for the sake of offering an opinion, instead the opinion usually translates to sales of a service or items of interest to the reader and of course income for the blogger.

Whether it is a review of a book, a fashion range, furniture or cars or a service the blogger can offer, the content of the blog should always contain keywords that the reader might enter into a Google search box. This will maximise the Google page ranking; and of course the front page achieves many more sales than page 60.

Some bloggers seek expert help from experienced SEO Content writers who will include the keywords in an interesting conversational way, so the the reader doesn't feel that there is a hard sell going on.

Some bloggers will use SEO Content experts to proofread their own efforts to ensure the best results for their website.
