It’s not much good committing to 500-600 words per post if all you write is rubbish just to meet the quota.

Having got them in with your award winning title, you have to keep them in with interesting article content useful to their needs. Remember you are writing for the reader. You want to offer them some value. Is it about what you have to offer, a product or a service? Is it an opinion you are trying to express which may offer an alternative and logical view to the reader?

You have to include your keywords or phrases in your article content!

As with your title, your article content must include your keywords or phrases to keep the search engines active and so promote your way up those search engine rankings. Keywords must be in the first 300 words and in the first or second sub-headings for search engines to really catch on to you and your posts.

It is very easy to write a 100 word comment on anything, but you are wasting your time if that is all your blog consists of, you may as well just stay on Twitter. So, make your article content meaningful with at least 500 words which is excellent search engine fodder, longer article content gets much better preference in search engine rankings.
