Take Care Out There

There are many things that could cause you to think we are living in an age where it is not safe to… well, to do much at all really.

Just walking down a street can be fraught with danger, let alone eating at a cafe, visiting a shopping centre or going to a game of any kind of sport.

Many of todays violent episodes are so open, blatant and sudden, it is sensible to keep your eyes left and right as well as ahead and behind you,

It is an absolute judgement call whether to ‘get involved’ in any situation, good or bad. Your personal safety and that of those around you must be taken seriously.

One of the best things you can do is to not put yourself in places you don’t need to be. There is much to do and so much to see, without putting yourself, and your loved ones, in danger.

Some will argue, why should you restrict your lifestyle because of street and other violence? Well it gets down to what you must do to keep yourself safe, do you need to be a thrill seeker and put yourself at risk?

That may be ok taking part in extreme sports, however, you take part knowing the risks, knowing the dangers. When you know where it may be dangerous to go, or to intervene when you see poor behaviour, the outcome will be much more extreme than your sports.
